Edmonton Alberta!!! Is there going to be an alberta scrapfest? THere is a huge group of people here who want to know if the rumour is true that there may not be one.

The rumour is true. We will not be returning to Edmonton or Calgary this Fall. I know that this is disappointing to many of you. I am so sorry! We did have plans to bring ScrapFest to Calgary in the Fall but due to some changes in the company with my business partner's decision to return to work, I had to postpone some of the events planned for 2008.
As some of you know, I have 3 young children (under 7) and running events out of province involves a lot more time and energy. Please know that I do have plans to return to Alberta and once I have the venue and dates confirmed, I will post these! I hope that you understand and please know that it wasn't an easy decision for me to make.

I know how long you wrestled with this decision, Lisa...and I know how difficult it was for you to have to pull back from the plans you had made. I know how disappointing it was for you.
I also know you must do what is best for yourself and your family. I am sure that as scrappers, we understand that completely!
Whatever decisions you make will be the right ones, Lisa. We'll be waiting expectantly for word that you have finalised all the details for the next round of western events. It will be worth the wait!

Lisa I just got your email about the next scrapfest. I am so excited all ready and I am planning ahead too. I have been checking the website every few days with the hopes of just a little bit of information on the next one and then there it was in my email. I am looking forward to next april all ready even though we don't want summer to be over just yet.
