You asked if we had ever done a layout based on a song...well, I did one for Scrapfest last year, based on "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want to". It showed a picture of my brother bill, sitting on the floor beside a birthday pie he had dropped...upside down! His expression was priceless....and his daughter yelled "10 SECOND RULE"l

I used the phrase "Sign Sign Everywhere a Sign" from the song "Signs" by Five Man Electrical Band for a page on handcrafted store signs on Newbury Street (?) in the city of Boston.

When I was scrapping our camping trip from 1985, my youngest son would always be played out. He was only two...pictures of him asleep at the table, in bed with an apple in hand, etc. I used the lyrics "Mr. Sandman" . Can't wait til April!

"Do you love me" by the Coasters. It was a two page spread of my daughter pulling the petals from a daisy as she love me, love me not. It's one of my favourites.

These are all so amazing. I truly can't wait to scrapbook and use some of these lyrics and wonderful ideas. I guess I will have to wait until after ScrapFest before I can pull out my stuff. Too busy right now!!!

I used the title "big girls don't cry" on a layout with my daughter when she was much smaller and she had those big tears in her eyes but she hadn't quite started crying yet

I used the lyrics Leaving on a Jet Plane for a double page layout of my daughter and I heading out for our cruise. The song is by Peter Paul and Mary from the 60's.

I love to use song lyrics for titles or on pages for the journalling. The one that works the best (and personally my favourite) with the crop theme for this year was a photo of my husbands feet (foreground), Ocean (background) and a drink in hand when we where in Cuba. The lyrics is used where "I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand Not a worry in the world, a cold drink in my hand". Title of the song was Toes by the Zac Brown Band.

The only layout I did with a song was the spread I did for last year's flower power layout contest. I used the "Age of Aquarius".

I used the title "We are Family" for a layout once. I'm sure there are others, but that is the one that is stuck in my head right now! Very Happy

I used the words to " Celebration " by KC & the Sunshine Band, for my Dad's 80th birthday party.
