OHHHH April

I like your thinkin'.

and also thank you Lisa , Lorna and everyone of the Scrapfest Team, From the time we walked in the door until the moment we had to leave, the experience was wonderful. We felt like we were part of a special group of people. The whole team is just a great group of people, from Sandra at the reception table to the ladies dealing with all the enteries and the people on the desk in the arena ( I wish I could remember all your names ).
By the time I'd had dropped off my friend Trudy on Sunday night, We had planned our 4 day trip to Kitchener for next year.

See you there

Dawn

I must admit, it's hard to settle down after the fun had at Scrapfest!!
I'm enjoying my new goodies and practicing what I learned at the make n'takes. I never knew those cute ribbon flowers, that we did at the Maya Road group make n'take, were so easy to make. I'm also working on a layout using my new Scrapfest stamp. It's so cute and perfect for the page.

I'd love to hear what you are working on and what "treasures" you found at Scrapfest.

Very Happy

I can't beleive it was 1 whole week ago.

well I took 2 classes both amazing thank you vicki and sarah.
and I shopped a lot , I got spellbinder and nellie dies, tim holtz distressing inks, many stamps both rubber and clear, got to do some make and takes, bought a birthday present for my scrap buddy. got a bow maker ( very cool) some embossing folders, another year of scrapbook and cards, some quilling stuff. and peachy keen stamps for my paper doll cricut cart. ( been looking for these forever )
I also picked up more supplies like papers and rubon's and embellishments. Man I had fun. hope everyone else did too Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Sounds like you have some good finds Dawn.
I tried quilling for the first time at Scrapfest. It was tricky at first, but after
the first one, it was easier. They sure make the page pop. Very Happy

April, do you think quilling is something you will continue to use on cards and layouts?

I haven't had too much time to play with all my new treasures yet, but this weekend is looking promising for that.

Enjoy this long weekend everyone

Happy Easter Dawn

I'm going to give it a try, Dawn. For now I'm sticking to the simple small shapes for flowers. There sure were some fancy quilling projects on display at the one stand. I was thinking the same thing for this cool long weekend. It's the perfect chance to get some crafting done. Happy Easter!
