Hello ladies! Here's a chit chat Forum that may be useful. How do you pack for scrapbooking? Do you use a suitcase on wheels, scrap totes, lots of different bags... is there something you've found that every scrapbooker should have to transport her stuff? Let us know.

It's very rare that I ever go to a crop, and when I do I try to be really specific on what I plan to do and pack only for that. I actually use my laptop carrying case. LOL

I used to try to take everything with me. Now I have too much stuff to do that. I do use my rolling tote and my tool tote, and a bag for the projects I'm working on.

I'll bring along the basics but not much more because I'll be playing with the new stuff I get at SFest, it's much easier to travel lightly Wink

Unfortunately I haven't learned yet........I take ALOT of stuff. The last crop I went to I had a few projects ready to go and didn't take as much, only two trips into the room. I pulled out one project and in the light of the room didn't like the paper I picked and then I had to go buy different because I hadn't brought my extra with me. I also got to the point where I didn't want to work on what I had brought with me and didn't have any other pictures with me.
I will still bring alot with me to ScrapFest, but leaving it overnight and having two days makes it worthwhile.

I try and make up page kits before I go to cut down on what I bring. Even with doing that I still over pack. I use a rolling tote and a few other bags.

It seems I only work on pages at a crop so my I rolling tote is always partially packed. I prepare my LO's ahead of time and put the supplies in a 12x12 ziploc. I usually bring way too much but then I'm ahead for the next time Laughing I bring the basic tools, 12x12 trimmer, ink, marker, scissors and adhesive.
