I always go to scrapfest with high expectations that I will get a whole bunch of layouts done. Lucky to get done 6-7 pages by the time we go for supper, do some make and takes and of course shop, shop, shop! What is your realistic amount of pages that you get done at the end of the scrapfest weekend? Very Happy

I hear ya pjscrappers. I too go with lofty goals, but not nearly as unrealistic as my very first Scrapfest . I thought I would get 20 or 30 pages done Shocked but then I heard the call of the Market place Laughing Laughing Now I know the lay of the land and I'm more in tune with my scrapping self and am happy to get 5-6 pages done maybe a card or 2. And remember above all " I'm here to have a scrapping good time " and enjoy myself with no self imposed demands. It works soooo much better for me that way Rolling Eyes Scrapfest is my new "no stress zone " Cool Laughing

I would be happy getting 4 doble lay outs done, but there are so many good distractions!

I hear ya ladies. High expectations but I'm lucky if I get 4 - 6 pages done over the two days.

This is the time some of my group sees each other for the first time since the last Scrapfest so there is a whole lot of chatting, laughting and catching up and then there is the marketplace....which you can spend hours in and this year I must slip away from Scrapfest to watch my daughter compete at a dance competition.

However, no matter what I get accomplished I'm always super satisified for the time I get to spend with friends.

I've planned about 6 layouts so far, ordered my paper, embellishments, just need to print my pictures! However, going to Marketplace, socializing, classes and any other fun stuff that might come up, I might be lucky to unpack my stuff! I hold a small weekend retreat every year and spend the entire weekend socialing and rarely get much done. Although I have to admit my friends somewhat boxed me in with tables last year and I did get Christmas cards made. Laughing

We'll I always go to scrapfest with good intentions of getting many pages done and maybe a few cards But with all the socializing, shopping, make n takes and excitement that surrounds me , and checking out everyone else's work I usually come home with not much accomplished. Poor Dawn tries to keep me focused though but after all these years has just had to give it up. I must admit though that the last crop we attended in Barrie last year I was able to get a whole baby album done. Just love all the happy distractions that do get my attention though and always, always have such a happy wonderful fun time weekend! Very Happy

I'm not scrapping at ScrapFest because of I'll have my booth, I'm really bad at crops. I bring everything and the kitchen sink with me and then if I start something and don't have something I need, I put it away and start something else. I end up going home with a lot of half finished projects! Sad
