Hello ScrapFest Ladies -
I am SO thrilled to be returning to ScrapFest this year to show you how to make the most realistic looking flowers...out of scrapbook-friendly clay!

Since last ScrapFest, I have completed the floral certification and am very proudly the First Canadian Instructor from The DECO Clay Craft Academy! So, let's learn how to make flowers and incorporate them into your scrapbooking and papercrafting projects!

This clay is lightweight, scent-free, can be tinted to any colour AND it's not messy to work with...so I hope you can see how YOU can make the best embellishments to match and co-ordinate with your keepsake photos! I will show you how to work with the clay, tinting it to the colour of your choice...and how to make hydrangeas - how fun and creative!

I am delighted that so many students have already signed up for this workshop - just look at the photos for some inspiration! You could bring a wedding photo, baby shots, milestone birthday photos...or any subject that would look best featured in a classic white shadowbox!

Oooh, the shadowbox - you're going to love it! A gutsy 8x10 box, with lots of depth (for those flowers and any other goodies that you want to tuck into for safe-keeping). Painted white, it features a twisted rope detail that finishes off the top edge.

So start thinking of your photos - oh yeah, there are Laughing only 11 spots left - look forward to seeing you soon!

Hello Tracey,

My Mom & I are excited to be taking your class at Scrapfest this year.

Quick question. Is there a particular type of White Glue that we should be bringing?

Thanks so much.

Hi Kimmer,
Good question...any of the scrapbook safe white glues will work. We will be using it to attach the blossoms to cardstock, so these aren't heavy items, but you will want them to stay put!

See you in a couple of sleeps - ScrapFest rocks!
Tracey
